LESSON 4 — Swapping Crypto (WX Network)

Learn how to swap tokens using the WX Network.

Lesson Goal

By the end of this lesson, you’ll understand what swapping crypto means, how it works on the WX Network, and how to do it safely.

What Does Swapping Mean?

Swapping crypto means exchanging one token for another directly on a decentralised exchange (DEX).

For example:

  • TON → GOGG

  • Token A → Token B

This happens without a bank or central exchange.

What Is the WX Network?

The WX Network is a decentralised trading platform that allows users to:

  • Swap tokens

  • Provide liquidity

  • Stake tokens

Swaps on WX are handled by smart contracts, not people.

How Swapping Works

When you swap tokens:

  • You choose the token you want to trade

  • You choose the token you want to receive

  • The swap uses a liquidity pool to complete the trade

Prices are set automatically based on supply and demand in the pool.

How to Swap on WX Network

  • Basic steps:

  • Connect your wallet to the WX Network

  • Select the token you want to swap

  • Select the token you want to receive

  • Enter the amount

  • Review the details

  • Confirm the swap

  • Once confirmed, the swap cannot be reversed.

Important Things to Check

  • Before swapping:

  • Make sure you are on the correct network

  • Check the token name and symbol carefully

  • Be aware of price impact on low-liquidity pools

  • Keep some balance for transaction fees

Staying Safe When Swapping

  • Avoid fake tokens with similar names

  • Start with small amounts if unsure

  • Double-check all details before confirming

  • Taking a moment to check saves money.

Lesson Complete

You now understand how to send and receive crypto safely.
